Once a month, we host an event at the Stones Throw Brewery where we feature three to four local songwriters, each sharing their unique stories through music. Enjoy handcrafted tunes and a selection of local beer, wine, cider, and ginger ale. Whether you're a music enthusiast, a lover of lyrics, or simply looking for a great night out, come support a rotating roster of local artists and non-profits. Cheers to the magic of music and the connections it fosters!
The third Friday of every month at 6 pm! Free! Family and dog friendly!

February Artists
Richard Widerkehr
Richard writes funny songs, sad songs, and he's also a poet and fiction writer. Influences include Beatles, folk, and classic country songs.
Molly Flynn melds her Midwest roots with her PNW soul, bringing a folksy/singer-songwriter/indie vibe. Molly's thoughtful lyrics and melancholy melodies aim to feel like a weighted blanket when you need one the most.
Little Lonely is the brainchild of Julie Cain, an indie folk artist whose music evokes Dust Bowl salvation, roadside general stores and towns submerged in lakes for the sake of progress.
Bo creates heartfelt folk music and mesmerizing fingerstytle guitar. Each song has a story (some funny, some tragic) which he loves to share with the audience.

Commitment to community
As a part of our dedication to the community that sustains us, we donate half of the proceeds from each event to various local non-profits on a rotating basis. Your attendance not only empowers these gifted artists but also supports important causes, infusing every note and chord with a deeper sense of purpose. Through shared commitment, we can create a meaningful impact and foster unity within our community.
This month's non-profit
Make.Shift empowers, supports, and creates opportunities for local artists and musicians in Whatcom and Skagit Counties. We prioritize marginalized and underrepresented creatives. Make.Shift runs an all-ages art gallery and music venue, affordable art studios and band practice spaces, weekly workshops, and a low-power community radio station, KZAX 94.9 FM. We want to live in a world where art is essential, music is life, and weirdos are always welcome!
