neighborhood songwriter showcase
every third friday @6pm
Once a month, we host an event at the Stones Throw Brewery where we feature three to four local songwriters, each sharing their unique stories through music. Enjoy handcrafted tunes and a selection of local beer, wine, cider, and ginger ale. Whether you're a music enthusiast, a lover of lyrics, or simply looking for a great night out, come support a rotating roster of local artists and non-profits. Cheers to the magic of music and the connections it fosters!
The third Friday of every month at 6 pm! Free! Family and dog friendly!
Elsa Renee is a local music teacher and performer. She creates meditative melodies inspired by nature, community, and folk heritage.
Jesse plays guitar and sometimes he sings while playing guitar.
Elise Dahlberg and Brian Hassler, aka, The Love Grubs, are a loving musical duo with a unique synergy and an eclectic collection of originally composed material. Using keyboard, guitar, and vocal harmonies, they sing/play contemporary folk/rock/pop written from the heart.
Bruce Blood is a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist whose distinctive songs capture evocative scenes from American life. He is known for his versatility across genres such as folk, jazz, R&B, rock, and country.
As a part of our dedication to the community that sustains us, we donate half of the proceeds from each event to various local non-profits on a rotating basis. Your attendance not only empowers these gifted artists but also supports important causes, infusing every note and chord with a deeper sense of purpose. Through shared commitment, we can create a meaningful impact and foster unity within our community.
This month we are supporting DVSAS because no matter what their circumstances, every person deserves to feel safe, supported and heard. When we talk about individuals affected by domestic violence or sexual assault, we’re talking about every one of us. Whether it’s you, a loved one, a co-worker or a friend, someone you know needs help. DVSAS is here to help. The mission of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services is to support individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation and to lead the community towards ending these abuses of power.
